• The Shoura Council receives Asharqia Young Businessmen Council and confirms the leadership's keenness to support the youth in the Kingdom

    Asharqia Young Businessmen Council delegation arrived to Riyadh and continued its program of visits on its second day by visiting the Shura Council headquarter, where they were received by HE the Secretary General of the Council Mohammed bin Al-Mutairi.

    Asharqia Young Businessmen Council's visits and programs began on Monday 17 December 2018.

    The meeting was chaired by Eng. Abdullah Al-Briqan, the Chairman of the Council,

     

    During the meeting, Al-Mutairi met with the delegation and emphasized the keenness of the leadership to support the youth, as they are one of the pillars of achieving the Vision of the Kingdom 2030.

    He pointed out that the nation will rise with the youth and their ambitions.

    The meeting pointed out that the young businessmen sector introduced many initiatives to the local economy, which added a new dimension to the local economy.

    It praised the constructive ideas that have become an important element for the development of the commercial and economic sector in the Kingdom.

    The meeting also reviewed the role of the local media, as it cares about the sons and daughters of our nation and their achievements.

     It is consistent with the achievements of young entrepreneurs in all regions of the country and to present them in a distinctive way to all through important media channels.

     

    In the second period, the delegation met with Yound Businessmen Council of Riyadh Chamber at the headquarters of the Chamber.

    They were received by Mr. Ali Al-Othaim, a member of the Board of Directors of Riyadh Chamber and the Chairman of Riyadh Young Businessmen Council.

    Al-Othaim provided a detailed explanation of the Council's most important orientations and objectives, in addition to its plans for next year 2019.

    The meeting discussed aspects of enhancing cooperation between the two Councils to serve the young businessmen sector in the Kingdom.

    It pointed to the importance of the continuation of business councils in the regions and to benefit from the ideas and experiences provided by the Councils in various activities.

     

    Asharqia Young Businessmen Council presented a presentation on the most prominent achievements of the current year and the most important forums and programs that held during the past months, as well as a brief overview of its directions for the coming year.

     

    For his part, the Chairman of the Council, Abdullah Al-Briqan, said that the meeting of the Business Council in Asharqia Chamber came out with many distinctive ideas.

    The experiences of the hosts also provided a lot of learned lessons, which will form a list of the distinctive programs that will be part of the Council's plan for the coming year 2019.

    Al-Breikan pointed to the Council's interest in transferring these experiences and lessons to the business community in the Eastern Province.

    He stressed that the local market always needs to renew, which does not come to friction with the experiences of others.​
